I’ve decided it is time to pay some attention to this long dormant blog of mine. I’ve neglected it long enough. Put it off. Procrastinated. Pretended it wasn’t a priority. It’s time it becomes one.

I stumbled onto this guys web site after clicking link after link from some other artist I found in a Paste Magazine newsletter. Can’t even remember who it was now, but as the web site was loading, some music began to stream and I couldn’t stop listening to the funky folk-blues coming out of the speakers. This guy is amazing. After listening through the CD a couple times, I noticed a few voices I recognized. From what I gathered, thanks to Google, Dave (an unsigned artist) passed Amy Grant a CD somewhere and she loved his music so much she ended up tracking him down. Long story short, she ends up singing on a great tune called “I Have and Always Will” and Vince does some vocal work on another song called “Jackson”. Not only is this guy a great songwriter, but it’s hard to stop listening to him sing too.
